  • Brief Description
  •  Corporate Diplomacy is a strategic tool for managers utilized internationally to build leverage with external stakeholders and deliver shareholder value. This tool involves employing strategies and practices to effectively manage relationships, mitigate risks and foster mutual understanding and collaboration between corporations and their private and public stakeholders worldwide.

 

  • Micro-Credential 1 is the first in a series of four offered as part of the novel and unique Corporate Diplomacy Series at AUB.

 

  • Micro-Credential 1 introduces participants to “The Fundamentals of Corporate Diplomacy”. This is a three and a half-day course combining theory, out-of-class interactions and optional individual coaching. It is designed for a small group of carefully selected participants from government, the corporate sector, business intermediaries and academia. Trainers are seasoned  experts with  a broad scope of experience in global management and diplomacy.

 

  •   Objectives
  • Provide participants  with the necessary qualifications for senior corporate roles in Public Affairs, Strategic Communication and Governmental Advocacy
  • Support participants in building international connections with peers, experts and decision-makers
  • Boost participants’ corporate performance and  career advancement

  • Communicating effectively with external public and private stakeholders
  • Negotiating successfully to resolve disputes and cut deals
  • Building strategic networks & alliances
  • Developing soft skills and business etiquette in a multicultural business environment
  • Generating a personal Corporate Diplomacy Profile

Assessment

Active participation in the entire Micro-Credential leads to:

  • The assessment is based on the active participation of the participants
  • A Certificate indicating whether the participant has passed or passed with distinction according to Hungarian Higher Education Law
  • 6 ECTS credits.

Assessment includes a Letter of Motivation
